For this year's fundraising campaign, we would like to repaint our walls and install a hanging system.
A hanging system will allow us to hang art throughout the building without damaging the beautiful new paint AND change out exhibitions more quickly because we won't need to repeatedly nail, patch, and paint the walls.
This system would be a game-changer for us, but for a building of our size, it can get expensive. That's why we're turning to you for help. We will need about $5,000 to repaint the walls and purchase the hanging system.
Please consider donating to Bay Arts Alliance this year, so we can make these improvements to the building.
Our Holiday Bazaar is coming up on December 6 and 7. There will be work by over 40 artists here. Come shop with us to find the perfect gift by local artisans and businesses.
We also have an open mic night for writers coming up on December 12, and a swing dance lesson on December 19.
These events and so many more can be found on our Facebook page.
THANK YOU TO THE JETT FAMILY
A huge thank you to the Jett Family for donating Betty Jett's beautiful piece, Harrison Avenue to our permanent collection!
It is an honor for us to add work by such a well-respected community member and artist to our collection.
And for the piece to be the iconic view out our stairwell windows is just the icing on the cake. It's almost like it's our birthday instead of Betty's!
Come see Betty's exhibition and the donated piece in person in our Higby Gallery until the end of November.
You can even wish Betty a Happy Birthday in her visitor book. She's turning 89 this month!
We're at the corner of E 4th St and Harrison Ave across from the Martin Theatre—in the center of historic downtown Panama City, FL.
Come visit us Tuesday through Saturday. We open at 10am, and stay open until 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3pm on Saturdays, and all other days until 5pm.
We're always free to visit and we'd love to have you!
