Yes, we are an art gallery – but we are so much more!

Art comes in many forms. And at the Center, we celebrate them all.
 

Art helps us tell a story, share the world around us, and foster conversation and understanding.

As a society, art stimulates our creativity and helps us express who we are. It makes us laugh and it makes us think. It is something we can create individually, or collectively with others.
It is something that can be shared and appreciated by the young – and the young at heart!

From pottery and basket weaving classes, digital art, summer camps for kids and teens, date night art for couples, competition exhibits, vocal and music performances, community gatherings and more, the Center for the Arts is helping bring culture, creativity, and community to historic Downtown Panama City.

Visit our galleries, shop for locally created items in our gift shop, attend a class, or join us for special events. Our building belongs to everyone, and we hope to see you soon!
